UNIDO's First Sustainable Cooling Forum 2026 will serve as a platform to rise to the cooling challenge by accelerating the emergence, deployment, and large-scale adoption of sustainable cooling solutions.
The Forum focuses on key objectives:
Showcase impact: demonstrate the impact of UNIDO's Montreal Protocol projects on sustainable cooling
Share solutions: exchange insights on existing solutions in technologies, policies, resources, and financing mechanisms.Strengthen partnerships: facilitate engagement and cooperation with stakeholders including Member States, private sector, research and foresight experts
Central question: How can coordinated approaches--across technology, finance, policy, and society-- address the full cooling system and growing demand for cooling?
